H1N1 Influenza Symptoms Tracking System Integrated into the App
Patients lacked a structured way to record daily influenza-like symptoms or explain how their condition changed between consultations. Care teams received disconnected updates that limited timely review.
This project integrated an influenza A(H1N1) symptom tracking module into an existing healthcare app. Patients recorded when symptoms began. They also logged temperature and daily severity through guided check-ins.
The influenza monitoring dashboard displayed symptom trends and open alerts. Configured rules flagged concerning changes for care team review. The module kept self-reported illness separate from laboratory-confirmed H1N1. It supported monitoring and follow-up without diagnosing influenza or recommending treatment
